What is the appeal of reelism?

To me, it's slaughtershit but worse.
>no possible way you're going to kill all the enemies, because the slots will re-roll and reset the board before you kill 10% of them
>which means you don't really have a plan of action or an objective that you're slowly progressing toward, instead you're just surviving round to round
>which just means hiding, since you can't possibly kill the people trying to hurt you
