/vr/ - Retro Games

I've been trawling through the internet looking for Unreal content out of boredom, and I noticed that there's a surprising amount of Christmas themed maps for UT1999/2004. This got me thinking about doing some sort of "Xmas end of the decade" gamenight for one or maybe both games.

I DLed a bunch of maps and am about to do a quick review of each one to see if they at the very least function. Then it's on to figuring out how to actually set up a server since I'm a massive brainlet.

Would anyone here be interested in joining something like this? Should it be posted about here or somewhere else? Should I maybe try making a thread on /v/ to get more players, since they've had UT gamenights before?
