Some shitty keyboards have a problem with limited number of buttons that they will register as being depressed at one time. I found that using the numpad usually lets you depress more buttons at once. Also, using the numpad puts your arms spaced evenly and the keyboard centered in front of you, but that probably is just my OCD kicking in.

I'm glad I have a Model M keyboard now and don't have to deal with the button problem anymore.

Pic culled from Google, but identical to mine. Born 15 May, 1987, with the extra long 12-foot cable. Paid $5 for it at a computer parts store, just needed to be cleaned up. It's been the best keyboard I've ever used.

Not technically a game, but when I was in college they were donating computer hardware for Computers for Africa, and I and a couple students were tasked with setting up the computers to work. Along with a bunch of the hardware was a few IBM Model M keyboards. Those Model M keyboards never made it to Africa.
