Noob here, I'm back with new s-video cables for SNES which are actually advertised on ebay as being wired correctly. Unfortunately the problem persists, webm related.

How can I get rid of these lines? Composite looks markedly better than both of my s-video cables, and less washed out as well. The effect is a lot more exaggerated on my TV rather than my capture card. Do I need to buy a first party AC adapter or something? I found a bunch of threads on google with similar issue, but nothing really got me anywhere.

It's worth noting that I'm not getting the "vertical line" thing that the s-video pastebin mentions, and I don't see any of the checkerboarding either. Again, the same cable works great with N64.
