How did old devs come together and just make a game like that? In the west, it seems it was a bunch of programmers who put their money into a new business, while the japanese just played it like a normal salary position. What was the indie pc dev scene like for both halves? I know in Japan, devving on the pc was how they did most of their projects, then porting them to arcades or console.
