My idea was that the Joust costs $3 to own, not to play. The idea is that you would build a fantasy collection using 9 dollars. Maybe it would have been clearer if I said "3 points".
Japan is manufacturing two new head to head pinball cabinets, the first time pinball has been manufactured in Japan since the late 70s. No word on if they'll make it to the US.

Another way to get good is to just watch tournament players play. A lot of their stuff you won't understand or be able to replicate, but I think it's worth watching for a little bit just to get a picture in your head for what good pinball play looks like. He speaks the truth! This feature isn't actually necessarily 1 in 10, it's adjustable by the operator. I learned that recently. There's also free games for getting a certain score.
