Here's your pic compared to the original doomguy's face, and then my rough copy pasting fix of your pic. When drawing small don't forget about proportions (even if you can't adhere to them at lest keep them in mind), also it doesn't hurt to to compare your sprites to the sprites you're replacing (take note where doomguy's nose, eyes and mouth are in in relation to the top and bottom of his head)
