The amount of work and care that goes into a product is always evident in the product at the end result.
This is most evident in tools. Shitty, cheap tools feel like shitty cheap tools in your hand. This is why people still need hardware/home improvement stores for their tools.
No man that works with his hands will buy his gear on Amazon. You gotta hold a hammer in your hand to gauge its quality, and that's why all the handtools in a proper shop can be held before purchasing.

Games are no different. Quality and "soul" are part of the product when people making it pour in their knowledge and skill to make it. THIS is "soul". What you're actually sensing is a connection to the developers by "getting it", i.e. understanding how much work they must have done to make something of quality. You might not even realize you're getting it, but your brain does. This is also why pandering clearly comes off as bullshit to anyone with intelligence. Pandering is cheap shit.

Can we trade games on here?

I found some old NES games in my attic that I forgot that I had so I've got a couple I would be willing to trade.

I've got Mike Tyson's Punch Out, Bart Simpson Vs The Space Mutants, and Super Mario Bros 2 I would be willing to trade with anyone here for a game similar in price.

What stops Nintendo from making reproductions of old NES and SNES games?

I wish they would. The prices are so fucking high no one can afford to have an impressive collection. If you pay $10 per game you would have spent $1,000 in order to have 100 games.

Why don't they make reproductions of old games? They would make a lot of money doing that and reach a modern audience.
