Well, in terms of action/platformer games, Genesis had Alisia Dragoon, Rocket Knight Adventures, Dynamite Heady, and the 3 Shinobi games.

In any case, a glut of cheap sports games would be great for making repros. Especially since (with the exception of EA games) almost every genesis cart has the same setup, there's no matching cartridge configurations like with nintendo carts. Every RBI baseball 94 and Techmo Super NBA Basketball has the potential to become Mega Man: The Wily Wars or Panorama Cotton.
