Why did they make GT4 so lifeless? Courses like Trial Mountain and Deep Forest became seas of sewer green mush overseen by dreary grey overcast. Even tracks where the sun was out still managed to feel dull. Also the way they presented cars in menus was pleasant in 3. Ultra glossy and they rotate nice and slow so you can soak in all the details. Was it 9/11 that killed the fun, lighthearted vibe in everything?
