You shoulda seen him in his youth, when working at iD, he was fat and the long hair didn't look good on him at all.

I think he looks "adult" now, if that makes sense.

>I would like to believe that Romero has learned his lesson after the catastrophe that was Ion Storm
Yeah, I'm pretty sure he knows what went wrong, he's had a long time to reflect on that.

>Just like older games you just need to know where to look to find something fun. There are plenty of older games that are bad and that can be said of modern games but there are still many fun ones as well in both spectrum's.

This.

The NES had about 700 titles, but how many of those were actually legit great and fantastic titles? You remember the Super Mario games, Tetris, Legend Of Zelda, Castlevania, Metroid, Megaman, the big ones, and then the somewhat lesser talked about gems, such as Wizards & Warriors, Mr. Gimmick, Gremlins 2, S.C.A.T, Rollerball, Pac-Man, Dr. Mario, New Ghostbusters II, Batman, Life Force, Arkanoid, etc, it's about maybe 100 truly great games

But how much bland or uninteresting shit which was just mediocre, was there, for the NES? How many uninspired ripoffs or awful ports were there? How many thoughtless and terrible movie adaptions were there?
Hundreds and hundreds.

There are more awful or mediocre games for the NES than there are great ones, that's what will happen.
I grew up with an NES, and I loved it, but I have little interest in playing most of it's library, I'm interested in the stuff that was actually really good.
