Would /vr/ be for or against updating the rules to consider games released at least 20 years ago to be retro, instead of going by the pre-1999 hardware stipulation?

Think about it: this would cut down on the shitposting and falseflagging that's killing /vr/ because kiddies want to discuss games that came out in the early 2000's, and it would generate new discussion as older games becomes "retro" -- god knows this place can get pretty stale and repetitive at times. Instead of anons complaining that the rule should be updated every 3~5 years, they can wait and anticipate for the next year to roll over so that they would then be able to discuss the games released for that year, e.g. 2020 means year 2000 games will be allowed on the board.
