Someone at work got a near perfect New 3DS XL using one of those websites for locally buying second hand stuff, but even he agrees that he got pretty lucky. Right now it's a dedicated Fire Emblem machine.

Have you tried some of the 2d games that barely made it out of japan? Those have aged a lot better. Gunner's Heaven, Vanguard Bandits, harmful Park, etc. In my case, the small screen made those games more tolerable. Klonoa's sprites are extremely low res when played on a 40" screen, but perfect on a small one.

Mask of Majora is absolutely insane on 3DS. The models look a lot better than in the ocarina remaster, but between the increased framerate and the free camera with right stick (the clitoris), it feels like a different game.
