I think many doomers are kind of tired of some of the same old cliche' tactics.

It's nice to now and then grab a megasphere, or a megaarmor, or a good gun or a key and nothing happens, you just get it and go.

Is fine now and then, but when it's every item, every key......no, it's lame.

I'd echo these comments, I like to try different things doom (but always come back to Vanilla), new mods, new guns, new monsters, even remastered music.

Though there are two types of people I really cant like and can never get over. I also liked Russian Overkill.

- People that demand every map/wad work with Brutal or they think it's crap

- Purist retards who think that if you use 1 extra gun or a couple of monsters or do anything at all outside outside bog standard vanilla doom everything, then it's not doom and they make endless passive aggressive whiney comments about "oh yeah, you can play that way.....it's just wrong....but that's cool"

The latter group is worse because it's far, far bigger.
