/crt/, I feel like I'm ever so close to getting my Trini's geometry in better order. last thread someone said reducing the TV's "picture" setting would remove some of the bowing distortion. I booted up 240pTS and sure enough it does the closer you get to 0. The issue is that the screen is super dark afterwards. Would raising brightness remedy this? Anyone have any good premade settings?

Model KV24FS120 if anyone's wondering. Pic related, note the entire left side has this odd curve.

Sony KV24fs120 here. Just got my remote and can access the service menu. Looking into it, there seems to be an abundance of options in the menu. All I need to adjust is the vertical angle (Picture is sheared), fix the overscan (Picture size?) and align the screen (Total picture position?). Anyone with experience know exactly what I need to adjust? And I know I should write down all the values before adjusting.

Also are those options pertaining to the guns possible to use for fixing convergence? I see options for cleaning up reds and "convergence service items" and was just wondering if convergence is actually fixable via the service menu.

Honestly didn't even know these 24" sets were a thing either. Perfect upgrade from my 19" and way more fitting than my 27" Trinitron from before.

Not sure how I missed tilt correction while sifting through the menus, thank you. Booted up 240p Test Suite and it seems that the geometry is more messed up than I thought. Fixing the tilt only fixed one portion of the screen, it appears as if the entire screen is sheared. Would fixing that and the convergence require me to open this bad boy up? Sounds like a hassle. Note how none of the top dots are showing but on the bottom they come up at an angle.
