Specific examples being the "GB Station" and the "G100", both of which copy the GBA SP design but then use a proprietary cartridge to actually play the games, otherwise it's useless.
No, you cannot play any GB/GBA cartridge with these things, not even flash carts. The proprietary cartridge and the cartridge slot have unique designs that just look similar to GB/GBA carts.
