it was just the first one that was at the top of the cue
I do prefer the original song over that cover or the one that plays at the correct speed

It's one of my favorite games, but you're right about the map design. ECWolf's map feature makes it easy to not get lost, but it doesn't help with the single-height maps.

As far as the music goes, I really like the timbres. Doom's FM sounds always felt like an afterthought to me, but Wolfenstein seemed to be made more with in mind (as opposed to ROMplers like the MT-32 and SC-55).

Wolfenstein's combat feels more intense (and the pistol is way more satisfying than Doom's), but Doom improved on Wolfenstein in a ton of ways, especially in terms of map design. I love both, but I'd have to say that I like Doom better.

Nah, it's worse, because now we know just how bad it'll be ahead of time given that it's multiplayer-only and quite clearly focused on the Overwatchesque ASSFPSAGGOTS trend.

Ranger's face alone should tell you what to expect.

I have this problem too. This is my solution.
>Find the DWMC on doomworld.
>Play a level a day for a month to finish a megawad (plus secret levels in the middle).
>Post your thoughts in a forum thread after you play each level.
>12 months in the year = 12 megawads a year if you stick with it.
>Now on Ancient Ayyliens MAP19 thanks to doing this.

Geoff Follin's Wolverine music is great, too:

I think what turns me off to a lot of his stuff is the '70s rock influence that's all over a lot of his work.
