I went from "this game's impossible to 1cc"
to "this game's super tough"
to "the final mission's super tough"
to "the red spiders are bullshit"
to "Rootmars is impossible without hoarding grenades"
to 1cc.

Gosh. This is an amazing feeling. Throughout my experience I've found that it's possible to get through the whole game with just a pistol, and I'm sure the devs designed it with that in mind, everything else is there to just make the ordeals easier.
