I loved Curse of Enchantia, played it several times as a kid.

It's also one of the few, if not the only, point and click adventure game with no text whatsoever, everything in the game is transmitted through symbols.

Bucky O'Hare is a pretty well regarded NES game.

question to retro PCbros: anyone played or ever heard of Curse of Enchantia?
It was my favorite point and click adventure game back in the day, but I never see anyone even remember about it.

The game had the particularity of being textless (except for the brief intro), every situation and puzzle in the game was determined by signs, or actions the NPCs made. Also, the game had a very quirky and absurd humor, which is one of the main reasons I loved it so much.
Graphics were really nice for the time, well, I guess the art direction was good, it was mostly prerendered background and sprites, nothing too amazing, but I think many of the locations were very original.
The only thing I remember I didn't like was that the whole game only had 1 song, the same music looped infinitely from beginning to end.

I think there was another Core point and click similar to Enchantia in gameplay, but instead of being set on a fantasy land, it was more like a space opera, again with absurd humor and textless, supposedly, haven't played it.
