I agree, though not by much. Doom 3 gets too much hate, it's main sin is that it's always terrified of actually challenging the player with enough enemies and as a result drags in the last half. The shotgun deserves the hate though, just because you can make it work as a melee weapon doesn't make it a good shotgun.
