There is nothing special about this game, it's actually probably shit, I haven't played it in over a decade, but when I was a kid, I loved Super Mario Kart, and I always dreamed of having a Sonic racing game of some kind. Then, one day while I was out shopping with my mom, BAM, I saw this on the pegs. Shit like that doesn't happen anymore. The sheer level of joy and gratification that came with realizing this game existed was enough to make me love it.

Even though it's not retro, I though the first Sonic All-Star Racing was pretty great. Second one was a bit sloppy and hectic, though.
