have a slim PS2 w/ this installed sitting in a box for a few years now, tried booting it up recently and noticed the laser was fucked as it was no longer reading discs

I wonder if its worth ordering a new laser to get it working again, it's not like I've been chomping at the bit to play PS2 games these days.

Except maybe Ape Escape 3. Haven't played that sumbich in years and my PC is too shit to emulate it at full speed.
