Roommate just got a Dreamcast, never had one before. It came with a stupid composite cable, but all its TV inputs are used by other devices - and he heard that the Dreamcast was capable of VGA (unused on said TV).

So, he told me that there's no way he'll spend more than $10 bucks on a VGA cable, because he found out the existence of pic related on Amazon for a few bucks,

I've told him that this shit wasn't going to work, and showed him a clear pinout of a VGA connector to prove that VGA doesn't even carry composite to begin with. He didn't believe me. He still ordered pic related.

That's going to be interesting to watch him try plug in the DC using that.
