No, it's totally true. The DVD Box sets don't contain the TamaGe Segments or several of the special segments broadcasted in between. Those only appear on the broadcasts and, well, in the rips of said broadcasts, like OP's torrent.

Finished watching the jogging episode; so Matsumura is an auxiliar AD this season! That explains a lot. I liked the teamwork everyone did to help Arino, after all that trainwreck they did almost in the end, it was both hilarious and corny. I laughed really hard when Arino wanted the spotlight back at the end
