Aria is a GBA SOTN, if you liked the game you'll like aria it's very similar, speedrunning was a mistake it's a lot more engaging to complete the game with everything, in aria some of the souls are really hard to collect.

Linear castlevania and metroidvania are two different animals some of the most fun I had with a castlevania it's been using the whip to kill everything in my way from point A to point B instead of exploring.

Castlevania legends on the GB it's criminally underrated it has good music and good level design with an interesting story. That's non cannon, cause it will make Simon an inbreed bastard.
