I've heard they aren't as bad as IV and Chrono Trigger's loading times, but that's not saying very much.

One thing that should be noted; If you plan to play them on a PS2, be prepared for the game to lock up temporarily at times and for some problems with saving. I don't have experience with these myself, but have heard time and time again of there being problems when played on PS2.

My versions of choice are the GBA ports, music and all, but I know I'm somewhat of a minority on that
