I just found a review under a longplay video, it seems to cover the matter but leaves out some details.

GameFAQs reviewers seem to generally think the game is just okay. Here is a typical judgment:

But seeing it for what it is, it's a pretty interesting game; it doesn't really try to compete with the giants, it manages to have some fun gameplay that you don't really see in many other places. But it also has some problems; the visual draw distance isn't the best and the action feels a little clunky and has been made up for by making the AI bad too. It can be worth a playthrough if you like the Mission: Impossible movies, are starving for games on the N64, or just want to check out something different, but overall it isn't that remarkable and deserves a score of *6 out of 10*.
