let me preface this with, i'm not european and only got into the zx spectrum because i wanted to update vbspec's source code with new features.

manic miner is damn good fun and challenging if you want something different and super old school to see where platforming began (in the early 80s). i imagine this would've blown my face off if i was a kid back then and lived in the uk. (29/american)
