My first console is the Genesis. There are a lot of games older than me that are awesome.

Trying to crack 4million in Robotron.

I think I'm actually enjoying the anger though.

Nearly flawless. Only part that isn't flawless is the part on the mine cart level with the pigs spawning left and right of you throwing the bombs. That section takes too long and you are just going from left to right slashing so that part doesn't need to be the length it was and just felt like a bit of filler. Though that is the nitpickiest of the nitpicks. My favorite game between the Genesis and SNES.

Though I have to say Robotron 2084 is the most perfect game. It is easy to pick up and play, intuitive controls in which you move with one stick and fire in a direction with another, points doing something like earning valuable lives thus creating a risk versus reward system with dodging into enemies to collect people in a mob or keeping an enemy alive to collect them. It is fast paced and gives you a slight break in between waves to loosen yourself for a couple seconds as your arena and enemies materialize on screen, and while it being a sometimes mimicked game it is still the best twin stick shooter to be created.

Most of their video game releases are pretty damn impressive for the time period.

Robotron 2084. The flashing lights, loud noises, and constant explosions kept my ten year old mind happy. I would visit the arcade every day to play this bad boy. Probably my favorite game of all time, but it's mainly from nostalgia.

>Is it justified if I've never beaten a single game from any of them?

You don't have to be a master at a game in order to like it.

By that logic it would be impossible to like games without endings, but that is clearly not the case.
