Went from 2 CRT TVs to 1 (2005 HDCRT I had since it was new shit the bed after I accidentally blew something in it using the service menu… learning experience) and now I’m back up to 4. I also have a Sylvania 32 inch TV in storage that I’m going to sell.
Currently have two CRT monitors and 4 televisions.
1 32 inch 2002 Trinitron
2 27 inch 2003 Panasonic taus
And 1 27 inch 1999 Trinitron pictured here.
Paid a total of 50 dollars for all of them (32 inch tube was free, the two Panasonics were 15 a pop and the other Sony I haggled down to 20 bucks) and all of them have nice bright tubes. Got lucky on all of these as far as condition is concerned, I don’t like spending any money on them. I’d keep bringing them in but I don’t want to end up with 10 tvs and be that guy, and if I move it’s going to be a pain in the ass.
Took this photo when I was calibrating it. The stand is even for this model of TV, but for the 32 (or maybe it said 36) version some guy had at a yard sale for 10 bucks, so I have a pretty nice set up in my bedroom as well as the living room now too.
