Does anyone else think that Yoshi's Story gets an unfair treatment?

I think a majority of the hate it gets stems from the fact that it is a very different game from Yoshi's Island, which I understand, but I prefer to treat them as two completely separate entities. The game also gets called out for being too short, but I always thought that claim was incorrect since you are supposed to play every level in each world, not to mention the added replay value of time trials and all-melon runs.

Overall, while it may not hold a candle to its predecessor, I still think it's a good game that gets unfairly bashed.
