Played the NES DQIV but I'm currently playing the DS remake, I have the V and VI DS remakes also. Just started Taloon's chapter. Honestly the accents don't bother me much at all, there's a bit of charm in there though it's true it takes a moment to understand what they are saying but hey that happens in life.

Playing IV NES at the moment, about to fight esturk in chapter 5. Really enjoying it, maybe even more then the DS version. Might go try monsters 1 after I finish it.

I remember hearing apparently accents are returning in VII, anyone have any pics of dialogue? Interested to see how bad it is, if its real bad I might consider the PS1 version, I haven't played it yet.

Man is Toriyama's classic style good. Honestly as time went on he got worse, the style he's used since VIII looks so dull colorwise.

Someone is doing a "fan translation" of IV DS actually. I use quotations as all they're doing is putting the NES script on the DS version and editting some censorship. Still cool but a fan translation of IV on PS1 would be great.
