I disagree. Heretic's bestiary doesn't need much to become high tier, it only suffers for being stuck with what it was. For as good as a lot of doom's monsters were, their usage was just as, if not more, important than what they could do.
Since most of the focus in heretic was "enemies are bullet sponges, and your attacks are designed to push them back," changing a few values and modifying an attack or two can go a long way. Granted, I might be a bit biased.

Revisiting my Maulotaur upgrade, decided he needs a few more degrees of fuck you added. Might scale him back just a bit.
