I always preferred the late 80's cyberpunk aesthetics of Snatcher over the whole "buddy cop flick in space" thing of Policenauts.

Honestly, I prefer the cliffhanger ending of the PC-8801/MSX2 version over how Act 3 conveniently wraps up all the loose ends with Metal Gear suddenly knowing everything about Gillian's past. Even SD Snatcher had a better ending.

>This leads me to believe Kojima felt the MSX2 version was superior.
The MSX2 was always intended to be the base platform of Snatcher, since that was what Konami primarily developed their games for, but PC-8801 was the easier version to develop for since most MSX computers didn't have built-in disk drives.

I was always disappointed that Konami never released a Snatcher artbook with all the line art they made.
