They kind of did (one city, at least). Since IIRC in Homm 5 Haven's Renegade tree units are demons in human disguise, I prefer to think they're in charge of them and lived happily ever after.

Pretty much like Homm3, actually.
Necropolis is op as usual, even with Dark energy.
Inferno is worst as usual since, unlike every other racial skill, gating sucks.
Haven is fun to play though. May not be the greatest but very underrated.
