Has anyone here played one of the infamous games that are always brought up when talking about "worst ever" games?

I got Superman 64 when I was a kid, and I didn't really think it was THAT bad until near the end. I remember some big level that looked like a parking lot or some shit, with plenty of big empty rooms and a brown-ish color scheme. That was the point where I realized the game was really bad, because that level was impossible to finish, as I would keep getting stuck into the floor and the walls because of glitches.

So, anyone of you guys went into one of those unholy games and somewhat liked it, before the internet made them mainstream examples of games gone wrong?

My story with horrible games is a little different.

For a pretty long time, I really never grasped the concept that a game could be bad and devoid of any kind of fun. It probably wasn't until I was 10 or 11 that I begun to realize that some games just were not good.

So when I got this game, if you had asked me how good it was, I would have told you it was awesome. Best Superman game ever.

I honestly believed it, too. I played this game every day for probably about a month. I'd get home from school excited to play this game. I never even got close to beating it.

I just assumed I wasn't any good at it, or that there was just something about the game that I didn't understand. I eventually stopped playing it, convinced that I just wasn't good at the game.

Also, the exact same thing happened with Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero. And many other games.
