No, it's a famiclone. Or maybe a controller connected to the DA15 connector on a famicom, but not an original famicom controller.

If it can't use a famicom cart (the ram adapter is a cart), it's no substitute. Also it can't even play expansion audio carts. Don't claim it's something it's not - a Famicom substitute.

And you can't use the mic either. Face it, you aren't really playing a famicom.

And you miss out on these sexy controllers!
