I'm skeptical of this. I mean, what even is iD's style supposed to be? Doom 1/2's maps often felt very different from each other, I didn't get a sense of a signature style out of them as a whole

/doom/ ruined me. I used to think pistol starting any map was a meme, but then I gave it an honest try and now - I can't imagine vanilla doom gameplay any other way. Not even carrying over weapons if the player doesn't die, just pistol starting regardless.

Hideous Destructor noob here.

How do I remote activate switches/doors with D.E.R.P.s? I know it's possible but nothing in the manual or help text seems to address it - only how to change between patrol/turret/ambush and simple commands like gotome

Damn fun mod by the way.
