Do you still have to risk potentially bricking the Miyoo Mini just to alter the os/storage of the device with the charging port? Or did they fix that?

Have you checked the doc list? Also that RG280V has a better screen than the Miyoo. Had you considered the Powkiddy RGB20 or the Pocket Go S30 [I know it might not be the form you were after, but it has more screen.]

I imagine a really powerful Powkiddy folding clamshell version of the RGB20 with a 5+ inch screen and loads of extra buttons. six face buttons, two analogues with L3 support, 4 shoulders and 4 under buttons on the reverse for extra assignation. Game support up to 6th gen. Maybe in 2 years? at $120? please?
