What are the best ARPGs on the PS1 and are they all anime shit

mint is one of the funniest characters I've seen in a game, I love her!

What would you change or improve that would be within the system limits?

Squaresoft RPGs for sure. They're even better in hindsight considering how progressively worse Square (now Squareenix) has gotten since those times. The PS1 really was their apex.

Why does nobody talk about this game?
I get that it released at a bad time but I still love it.
Nobody I've talked to has even heard of this game.

Threads of Fate, It;s just delightful in every sense of the word

I just completed the minigames at Mel's place.

Does this get any better? Mint is pretty amusing but so far I haven't been a big fan of the gameplay. Combat's alright I guess, but the platforming segments and minigames are just kind of annoying. Nothing's been annoying enough to make me want to drop it but I'm not enjoying it that much either.

I just discovered this little gem. It's so gorgeous and fun! Let's have a thread about it.

I might just start playing this one again actually. Brings me right back to being a kid.

I know a lot of people want to say Chrono Cross, and it's my personal favorite game, but holy fuck did Threads of Fate have a better OTS.
