Well I designed a lot of unique monsters based on a game called Spellcross some years back, but due to no one knowing the game and/or the lower resolution graphics (despite 8 directions) I deceided to recreate these + more ideas into reskinned doom enemies (since I can't recreate new graphics)., some will be heavily edited to fit the theme.

But it would help if I know an easy way to palette swap than the SLADE3 one at a time rule, since it's too long to do.

I'm happy with a lot of ideas, they're not all meant to be used as direct additions to the game but what could've been.

I always wished there were more official monsters, like another classic doom expansion. Most (if not all) of the custom ones from the community are re-skins which makes me sad.

I did have some really good concepts for additions to the game, but since I couldn't really create new graphics I had re-used some of the ideas for my Spellcross Monster Pack, which sadly didn't meet the requirements for Random Monster Packs. I spent ages trying to code new A.I decisions for them as well

Last year I created the Spellcross Custom Monster pack, bringing 35 of my favourite enemies into DOOM with some unique gameplay features. And afterwards, made them available to be used with OBLIGE maps.

I've completed the final version for both OBLIGE random generator and the Arena for testing/trying the monsters out. I will also be quitting DOOM projects, as I want to create things elsewhere. I want to thank everyone for their help with the project, and last reviews would be great to hear:

Update on Spellcross - OBLIGE Doom Custom Monster Pack, I've got the data ready and is currently under final testing, should be available to use for OBLIGE tomorrow hopefully.

Last version of Spellcross Arena (v1.03) is out, including the multiplayer teleporting fix. I've been away for many months, and wanted to share my project with you one last time. In case you didn't see before, it's a 32 Monster Pack based on the enemies from the turn-based game "Spellcross", you can try them out in this RNG arena, which is a map on its own.

Do you think I should submit the Monsters for Realm667?

I still need some more to try out my new custom DOOM monsters in Spellcross Arena.

I didn't get many replies last thread and would love to share this with you guys. There's 32 new custom monsters for wads to use, but for now you can fight them in this randomly generated arena.
