I don't want to say they're shitty, but literally everything about them feels lazy. Doors in the Sega VD version gave a little opening animation and in the remake It's just two frames, door and no-door. It's a small thing but every aspect is fucked up. In the original Raculi is this weird frontier town where they use giant desert pod plants to build windmills. The remake is just more reused art assets from earlier places in the game. It's so sad.
