Just wanted to update and say I appreciate you reminding me about Amiami. I didn’t know how they did preorders, but they are one of those places that only charge you once they have the stock so I’ve gone ahead and preordered from both them and Amazon. If the next 25 games in the US line up aren’t mind blowing I’m just gonna cancel that order and go with Amiami.

Just hoping their low user score isn’t actually representative of how they are, though some of those bad reviews seem to have come from actual autists.

Also, anyone know if EMS would be alright? I’ve used DHL once before and while it was alright, my package came in the middle of the night and the shipping seemed a bit overpriced.

My leisurely time is spent playing old vidya in which I really don’t go past the seventh gen. More often then not I play 8/16 bit vidya, rom hacks, or newer games that try and emulate that era. I usually just throw on an audio Bible or a sermon in the background while I play old games and that usually keeps me pretty darn uplifted in these times.

Other than that I have a pretty large friend group (which is funny because all throughout middle and high school I had no friends and was bullied relentlessly) so I split my vidya time doing various /tg/ related things with them. Most have kids now though, so I break out the heavy co-op board games for my single friends or the rare occasion one of my married with kids friends gets free time.

As for professionally, I’m a pretty decent artist and animator working on a children's cartoon with traditional and Biblical values. I’ve discovered a neat animation technique I don’t see a lot of people using so I plan on doing tutorials for that once I get a couple episodes of the cartoon out as well. All in all, my 30’s are pretty nice. We live in some bad, heavily divisive times, but I’ve just decided to focus on the good things, friends, and family, so I get by just fine. Ignoring new games has significantly helped too as most of those are too violent, depressing, or agenda ridden (usually a mix of the three) for my taste.

>Any retro game you'd like to finish before the decade is over?

Nothing really comes to mind as I don’t really play any long games. Maybe the GU trilogy again? Blaster Master Zero is next on the chopping block though, and I’m playing through the Sonic Rush games now which are very fun and comfy.

Same here. Only played through them last month actually… then I played through them again… and again…

feels weird to catch the Sonic tism this late in life.

If it wasn’t for the fandom sonic has gathered, I’d say it would make a really cool tattoo… but yeah, best to stay away from that
