I beat it some time ago, good game.

It's one of those games that is very intimidating at first, but once you get the hang of it and start playing and build up your character, it's actually pretty easy. Like Bionic Commando.

The hit detection for the rope on the top down segments is a fuck though

I beat the NES game. Good game. A bit overrated.
