Easy choice

Anyone find Doom 2 a slog? Over the years I've always heard it hailed as better than the original, but every time I visit it I like it less. knee deep in the dead is possibly the best set of maps of doom ever, and it is built around a good balance of fast pace and some labyrinth exploration. And what is great about it is how it ramps up the latter.

i have a lot of opinions on it, but ill just start with picking something simple: the super shotgun ruins a lot of the balance of doom. i quite like weapon switching on factors like available ammo and type of enemy. super shotgun ends up making most of the game dodge and weave until you can effectively melee the target with it.

When are they going to make a John Carmack and John Romero movie, or Documentary?

I have a question for Doomchads experienced with the original games. What's the best original Doom game? I want to play Doom on the go so I'm going to either download Doom (1993), Doom II, or Doom 64 onto my Switch. What's the best of those 3 and why? I played Doom 1 and 2 about 20 years ago and I remember liking them, but not much else.

TLDR- Should I play Doom 1, Doom 2, or Doom 64?
