I have a 3DS, Vita, PSP Go, Dingoo A320, OpenPandora, GPD Win, a hacked Switch and various other chink handhelds, plus the phone in the video and the 3DS is by far the worst device I've ever used for emulation because of the atrocious display. The 2DS looks so goofy that I would never use something like that, honestly. I would literally use anything else, though the GPD Windows devices are probably the best if you want good portable gaming. Also, stop being a poorfag.

3DS has great original games and ports though, video related.

It's literally 119.00 x 62.00 x 16.00mm, with a 4 inch display. That makes it smaller than virtually any phone currently out there. And in case you didn't realize, these are PSP Go-style slide out controls.

Also, you can play it on all other modern handheld consoles if you don't like the idea of connecting your phone to a controller. Nevermind that in both cases you would have to carry exactly two devices around, one pocketable (your phone) and one not (the controller or handheld console).
