The only bad thing about 1 is the RNG movement of the footholder platforms.
And maybe the god tier perfect timing required to get past the dropping fireballs in Fire Man's stage without taking a hit, if you can't Magnet Beam around them.

Mostly when I forget to do the normal rotation because the first megaman I had was Wily's Revenge and, to me at least, Iceman was the easiest of the 4 to start off against.
