When I was making Big Air, I noticed that the stats would change depending on the orientation and mirroring of the track.

With Wild Mouse coasters, there is a point in which the stats will practically double. It seems that your ride had just the right conditions in which the change in stats due to the mirroring anomaly was sufficient to trigger the double.

It depends on the ride, with some being naturally higher in Excitement than other rides. Other factors include coasters going underground, over water, having track/footpaths from other rides shoot through inversions, synchronizing with other rides, and most of all, having scenery near the station.
