The only Runeword that really needs to be fixed is Grief. It's too powerful. Flat damage is OP as fuck. The flat damage just needs to be scaled back a bit to be in line with GG rares. Should be like 270-330 or something instead. You remove Enigma and Sorc is broken OP. If they want to remove Enigma then they have to make Sorc's Teleport a cooldown or something. That sounds worse than before to me. Sorc Teleport was originally balanced around Mana pots being found only and nothing crazy like Insight. I like that Runewords are a nice stopgap to GG rares. It's fun playing it both ways honestly that's why Classic and old patches are so good. Really I'd just like there to be a concentrated effort to create an official "hardmode" for the game. Too many changes over the years have been made strictly to pussify D2. Remove Iron Maiden from Chaos? Add a bunch of Runewords? Give respecs to stat and skill allocation? Now they want to add auto gold pickup, fix a bunch of broken stuff while neglecting the fact that the game would be ostensibly easier. The old team who made the game, if they "fixed" things they'd rebalance the entire game to make it brutally more difficult. I hate every faggot who says anything about "QoL improvements" or whatever. 99% of the time it's because they're completely fucking retarded and don't know anything about D2. I'd really like an official D2 mode that's balanced for Hardcore Ironman play. That combines a bunch of concepts from previous patches to create a more challenging game. All this said I give no fucks about D2r and that's probably where most of this discussion is stemming from which I loathe greatly.
