-Wide arsenal of moves and abilities
-Bigger worlds with plenty of tasks to complete and bigger incentive to explore
-worlds are interconnected that makes the game feel like a believable grand scope adventure
-collectables are kept at a decent middle ground between its predecessor and the infamous DK64.
-lots of characters to have dialogue with
-Good variety of bosses (except for the dragon brothers).
